Since oppressive homosexuals, bisexuals, lesbians and transgenders are attacking and persecuting Christians and their pastors  for preaching and teaching what the Bible says about sex sin and sexual morality, we need to examine the issues.

"We know that the homosexual activists are now targeting, essentially, born-again Christians and committed Catholics and Mormons who oppose their agenda. They're out to re-write the Bible, to say that the Bible really does not condemn homosexual practice, which it obviously does," says LaBarbera. "Ultimately, we believe they'll be doing more and more of these lawsuits against Christians and Christian companies."

"A statement from the law firm working on the case, Shields & Hoppe, LLP, noted that Marcavage for years has been involved in open-air preaching, distributing Gospel literature, sidewalk ministering and sidewalk counseling – all constitutionally protected activities."

"There is no justification for silencing speech simply because it is considered to be 'unpopular,'" said Ted Hoppe, one of the attorneys. "Harassing and arresting Christians simply because they choose to exercise their First Amendment rights in a public place is unconstitutional."

Obama and most of the Democrats support and endorse the "rights" and "cause" of the homosexuals

Before we see what the Bible says about homosexuality, we need to see how the godly are to behave themselves with those they believe  are being sexually immoral. This paraphrase of Luke 6, Romans 12 and 2 Timothy 2 shows how we are to act towards such people.

2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong. 25 He must correct his [sexually immoral] opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the Truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it], 26 And that they may come to their senses [and] escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him, [henceforth] to do His [God's] will.

Ephes. 5:  6 Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments [for these sins], for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience. 7 So do not associate or be sharers with them. . . . 11 Take no part in and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises of darkness, but instead expose and reprove and convict them.

Luke 6:27 But I tell you who hear me: Kindly and compassionately Love your [homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, adulterous, incestuous and fornicating] enemies, do good to those [sexually immoral persons] who hate you, 28 bless those [sexually immoral persons] who curse you, pray for those [sexually immoral persons] who mistreat you. 29 If some [sexually immoral person] strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If some [sexually immoral person] takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30 Give [something] to everyone who asks you, and if any [sexually immoral person] takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. . . 35 But kindly and compassionately Love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked [sexually immoral persons]. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Romans 12:14 Bless those [sexually immoral persons] who persecute you; bless and do not curse. . . . 17Do not repay any [sexually immoral person] evil/harm/injury for evil/harm/injury. . . . 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with every [sexually immoral person]. 19 Do not take revenge [against sexually immoral persons], my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay [sexually immoral persons],"says the Lord. 20 On the contrary:

   "If your [sexually immoral]enemy is hungry, feed him;

if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.

In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. . . 37"Do not act like a judge [of sexually immoral persons], and you will not be judged. Do not condemn [sexually immoral persons], and you will not be condemned. Forgive [sexually immoral persons], and you will be forgiven.

>>>>>Homosexual attacks on and persecution of Christians<<<<<<

"A Michigan man is seeking $70 million from two Christian publishers for emotional distress and mental instability he received during the past 20 years from versions of the Bible that refer to homosexuality as a sin."

"Pro-family advocates say Christians should get used to legal harassment such as the lawsuit a homosexual activist recently filed against two Bible publishers."

Now let's see if homosexuality is a recurrent theme throughout the Bible, no matter which accurate translation one uses. Lets see what the Bible says about homosexuality.

>>>>>>>>Lev 18 & 20<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Lev 18:"22 You shall not sexually connect<Strong's 7901> with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination. . . .   24 Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for in all these things the nations are defiled which I am casting out before you. 25 And the land is defiled; therefore I visit the iniquity of it upon it, and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants. . . . 28 [Do none of these things] lest the land spew you out when you defile it as it spewed out the nation that was before you. 29 Whoever commits any of these abominations shall be cut off from among [his] people. AB with Stong's Hebrew Dictionary

Lev 20:13  If a man sexually connects<Strong's 7901> with a male as if he were a woman, both men have committed an offense (something perverse, unnatural, abhorrent, and detestable); they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.  AB with Strong's Hebrew Dictionary

Ezek 23:19 Yet she multiplied her sex sins, remembering the days of her youth in which she had sinned sexualy in the land of Egypt. 20 For she sensually loved<5689> her concubines and [female] paramours`<6370> there, whose lust was sensuous and vulgar like that of asses or stallions. 21 Thus you yearned for the lewdness of your youth, when those of Egypt handled your bosom on account of your girlish breasts. AB, Strong's  Hebrew Dictionary

`Everywhere <6370> is used in the Bible it is about and means a female

>>>>>>>>ROMANS 1:26,27,32<<<<<<<<<

ROM 1: 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile and strong sexually excessive desires<3806>; for both their females changed the natural instinctive<5446> sexual intercourse<5540> into that contrary to natural reproduction<5449>;  27 and similarly <3668> the males also, leaving the natural instinctive<5446> sexual intercourse<5540> with the female, were inflamed in their lust [=very strong and sinful sexual desire] towards one another; males with males working out fully <2716> [their] external genitals<808>, and receiving in themselves the recompense of their error which was fit.      DBY + Strong's and Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon

ROM 1:26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. MEN COMMITTED INDECENT ACTS WITH OTHER MEN, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. . . 32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.     NIV

ROM 1:26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. . . .  32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.    NASB

ROM 1:26 For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one, 27 And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another--men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution. 32 Though they are fully aware of God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them. AB

ROM 1:26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.    NLT

ROM 1:26 Because people did those things, God left them and let them do the shameful things they wanted to do. Women stopped having natural sex and started having sex with other women.27 In the same way, men stopped having natural sex and began wanting each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and in their bodies they received the punishment for those wrongs.      NCV

ROM 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature. 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men, working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense for their error which was meet.     21STCKJV

ROM 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due.  ASV

ROM 1: 26 Because of this did God give them up to dishonourable affections, for even their females did change the natural use into that against nature; 27 and in like manner also the males having left the natural use of the female, did burn in their longing toward one another; males with males working shame, and the recompense of their error that was fit, in themselves receiving     YLT

ROM 1:26 Therefore God betook them into passions of shame [Therefore God betook them into passions of evil fame, or shame]. For the women of them changed the natural use into that use that is against kind. 27 Also the men [the males, or men,] forsook the natural use of woman, and burned in their desires together, and men into men wrought filthhood, and received into themselves the meed that behooved of their error [males into males working filthhood, and receiving in themselves the meed, or hire, that behooved of their error].  WYC

ROM 1: 26 That is why God left them to do the wrong things they wanted to do. Their women left the right way for women and did things that are wrong for women to do.

27 Their men also left the right way with women. They wanted to have sex with one another. They did wrong things with other men. Their own bodies were punished because of the wrong things they did.    WWENT

ROM 1: 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile lusts; for both their females changed the natural use into that contrary to nature; 27 and in like manner the males also, leaving the natural use of the female, were inflamed in their lust towards one another; males with males working shame, and receiving in themselves the recompense of their error which was fit.      DBY
